RESIN COLOURS

Creating resin keepsakes involves a delicate layering process that takes between 48 and 72 hours from start to finish. The beauty of resin lies in its ability to achieve an array of stunning colors. Through extensive experimentation, I have developed a unique palette of 14 beautiful colors, all crafted exclusively for Forget-Me-Not-Keepsakes.

This list is not exhaustive. While these pre-blended colors are ready to go, I can easily achieve lighter or darker hues if you prefer. This is perfect for those who want to replicate a specific color.

To see more examples of the pieces that I have created already, take a look on the Forget-Me-Not Keepsake social media pages!

GLASS COLOURS

Creating Glass keepsakes involves a similar layering process toresin, however the materials used are more high end, expencive and fiddily. Once a colour (or colours, if you’re extra creative) has been chosen, the ashes are mixed with a ‘frit’. Frit is a very fine type of glass used to make jewellery and is heated to approx 900 degrees celcius in a kiln for several hours, once melted and fused with the ashes it takes a further 7 hours for the kiln to reach room temperature; This process takes a very very long time and has to be done over several days. I have created a very long list of colours that you can choose from, whilst most is in stock there may be an odd occasion where I will have to order it in especially - this will be at no additional cost to yourselves its just a little longer to wait!

Please note, keepsakes that include infusing ashes into glass will be invoiced individually and not available to purchase direct on the website.
